On 21/6/2025 Saturday, we were honoured to be part of the Ageing Friendly City Carnival, hosted by Majlis Bandaraya Pulau Pinang (MBPP) — an event that brought together community members, healthcare providers, and elder care professionals to champion an inclusive and age-friendly society.
At Seniora, our mission has always been clear: to promote active ageing, dignity, and a sense of purpose for older adults. This event gave us the perfect platform to connect with the public and showcase our approach to elder care rooted in the Montessori Method and holistic support.

What We Offered
At our booth, the Seniora team provided:
✅ Free physiotherapy assessments to encourage mobility and early intervention
✅ Elder care consultation, including home care and day care options
✅ Introduction to Montessori elder care, a respectful and empowering model for ageing
✅ Information on our centres in Penang and Taiping

The response was heartwarming — many visitors came forward to learn more about how to support their ageing loved ones, and we had the opportunity to guide families through their options with empathy and expertise.

Meeting Fellow Changemakers
What made the day even more special was meeting fellow professionals in the elder care sector. We had meaningful conversations about the current needs of our ageing population and how we can collaborate across organisations to create a more supportive and connected community.

Looking Ahead
This carnival was more than just a community event — it was a reminder that ageing is everyone’s journey, and building an age-friendly society requires shared effort. We’re excited about the potential collaborations sparked from this event, and we remain committed to our role in supporting seniors to age actively, safely, and joyfully.
